Using your Bucks Home Choice account
The quickest and easiest way to manage your application is through your Bucks Home Choice online account.
Setting up an online housing account
To create an account, you will need an email address. You will be asked to verify this as part of the registration process.
If you do not have an email address, you will need to set one up before you begin.
If you are helping someone else complete an application, you must use the applicant’s email address, not your own.
If they do not have an email address, you will need to help them set one up.
Before you start your application
To complete your application without delays, please have the following information ready:
- Full names and dates of birth for everyone included in the application
- National Insurance numbers for all adults
- A 5 year address history for all adults
- Immigration status for everyone included in the application
- Details of any unspent criminal convictions and Probation Officer contact details, if applicable
- Details of any Armed Forces service, including dates of service
Uploading documents
Please upload all supporting documents through your Bucks Home Choice online account.
We do not accept documents by email unless we have specifically asked you to send them this way.
Uploading documents online is quicker, more secure, and helps avoid delays in processing your application.

Managing your application
Upload documents: Use the Bucks Home Choice portal to upload files directly. Do not email them.
Assessment times: Applications take 12 to 16 weeks to assess after we get all documents.
Our response times
General emails: We aim to reply within 28 working days.
Complex queries: We will acknowledge your email first, then fully reply within 42 working days.
Do not follow up: Sending duplicate emails slows down response times for everyone.
